Not a good trip dollars wise. Got absolutely killed, was never winning the entire trip. Did have a nice massage that was comped by the casino. Ate a couple of $300 meals, one at Lemongrass for a late night dinner, the other at Olives for a mid afternoon lunch.
The dinner at Lemongrass was at about 1am in the morning, and we ordered way too much food. The lunch at Olives was good, and we impressed our waitress by actually eating everything, which included: 6 oysters on the half-shell, calamari appetizer, carpaccio, two different kinds of flat bread, and we both had scallops for the final entree. I had a couple of glasses of the Duckhorn merlot as well, which wasn't bad. Here's their lunch menu.
I also got to play the headsup IGT limit holdem machine. I beat it, and I personally didn't think it played all that well. But I probably only played like 100 or so hands, so that is clearly not enough to gauge how well it actually plays. It did pull off a river check-raise bluff successfully, in which I felt totally owned when I peeked at the computer's hand.
Other than that, it was a fairly tame trip, no wild outings or visiting the petting zoo. Just got my gamble on, and got my ass handed to me.
